Children's Book Experimentation

So I've not updated since May, which means I'm gonna have to cram 6 months of updates into one here:

1. Not a student anymore. Graduated with a 2:1. Pretty pleased about that!

2. Got Student of the Year award for making a book for our course. Unexpected but cool!

3. Not living in England anymore. Moved to Scotland. Pretty pleased about that too!

4. Got a job. Not an illustration job but whatever, I can pay the rent so can't complain.

"The Dogs".

These are my final outcomes for our project called "The Dogs". We had to create 6 images (not showing the last one, it's terrible even if the tutors didn't agree!) using different techniques based on the subject matter of dogs.The first one is my absolute favourite, though I like the following two as well. All done in mixed media. Tutors seemed happy and called it a great set, which is a pretty good start to the year if you ask me :) Hopefully more to come soon!

An update!

I know, I'm rubbish, I've not updated this blog in a while. Unfortunately, blogger hasn't been working too well on my laptop or phone recently, but I appear to have fixed the problem so it's update time :)

Here's the finished illustration, which is now available in my society6 shop here, if anyone is interested!

An update on a WIP.

An update of sorts on a piece I started a few months back, think I posted an early WIP pic.Still a WIP, but getting less and less of a WIP every time I mess with it. I think the lines need to go, just not working with the rest of it.
